Room to Think is a student reading group run through the Open Discourse Coalition. Members read one book at a time and discuss over dinner in downtown Lewisburg. Whatever the book, the focus is thinking. The group exists to make a habit of thinking the life and living the thought, a discipline meant to outlast college - and the one that matters most to students, whose foremost task is learning how to learn.
This semester opens with Gordon S. Wood's Revolutionary Characters, then turns to Nassim Taleb's The Black Swan. Members vote on the third title at the first dinner. Books are provided and can be picked up at the ODC office (239 Market St, Lewisburg, PA 17837).
