What We Do

Open Discourse Coalition (ODC) brings a variety of intellectual perspectives to academia.

Founded in 2020 by concerned alumni, ODC is an independent, 501(c)3 nonprofit headquartered in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

ODC brings opportunities for open, civil discourse on some of the most challenging issues facing our community and country. Programs include:

• Seminars

• Workshops

• Lectures

• Debates

• Reading groups

• Research

• ...and more!

ODC programs cover a range of topics with one imperative theme: We welcome diverse academic viewpoints and civil disagreement.

Events and programs occur at our office in Lewisburg, at Bucknell University, and beyond! With our headquarters just blocks away from Bucknell's campus, we are proud to host weekly programming and opportunities for Bucknell students. But ODC programs and sponsored events can be found at a growing number of colleges and universities, including:

• Lebanon Valley College

• Manor College

• Susquehanna University

• University of Pennsylvania

• Villanova University

• ...and more!
