NEW Student Series!

Join Mayor Kendy Alvarez '06 for this new ODC series and explore the interconnectedness of campus and community, understand the structure and function of local government, and engage in open, respectful dialogue about public life.

You’re a great fit for this series if any of these describe you:

  • Want to better connect with and serve your community.

  • Love higher education and its local impact.

  • Interested in running for office someday.

  • Curious about careers in local government.

Sessions will focus on equipping you with the tools to think critically and act intentionally as you consider your role in the democratic process—both during your time in Lewisburg and beyond.

Sessions will include readings, group discussion, and guest civic leaders.
