Elizabeth Canfield
Partnerships & Operations Director
Prior to joining ODC, Elizabeth held several roles in public service, including serving as Executive Assistant to a mayor in upstate New York, Director of Elections in Pennsylvania for Snyder County, and legislative staff member for a Pennsylvania State Representative. Deeply engaged in her community, Elizabeth currently serves on the Midd-West School Board of Directors and the advisory board of the Noah Webster Foundation.
Before transitioning into government, Elizabeth built a career in higher education and the performing arts. She served on the music faculties of the State University of New York at Oswego, Bowling Green State University, and Perrysburg Community College. Her experience also includes nonprofit management, having served as Managing Director of the Oswego Youth Conservatory and Assistant Managing Director of the LaVeck Concert Series. A professional musician, Elizabeth toured as a classical pianist alongside her identical twin sister. Together, they were finalists in several national and international duo piano competitions.
Outside of her professional and community commitments, Elizabeth enjoys (almost) all creative pursuits, including painting, photography, and cooking. She is also a licensed insurance agent in Pennsylvania and has a genuine enthusiasm for lifelong learning and exploring new interests.
